Boy, 5, dopes up buddy's lasagna.
Quote:
MIAMI - North Miami school officials caught one of their kindergartners seasoning his friend's lasagna with marijuana on Monday, police said.
The 5-year old boy, whose name is not being released, was sitting with a friend in the Gratigny Elementary School cafeteria when a worker saw the boy sprinkle something over his boddy's lunch. When approached, the child tried to hide a small bag of pot, said school spokesman Mayco Villafana.
The pot-laced lasagna went uneaten. The boy with the marijuana was sent to the principal's office, but he was not arrested.

What are your thoughts and views of this? Should marijuan be made legal?

Are they sure it wasn't just Oregano? Pot should be legal, but like alcohol, it should only we legal for adults.

Hence the middle school kids living around me have free access to alcohol.... So much for that theory. As a medicine I may or may not dislike Pot, as "enhancer" of every day life I do not believe in it. If you have to get high to escape reality you are doing something wrong.

An addictive and harmful substance should be legal why, exactly?

In this country, we don't need reasons to make things legal; we need reasons to make things illegal. And, since pot does not cause more damage than alcohol and cigerettes, keeping it illegal does not make any sense.

Uhm... One joint and you can't drive for manyand shouldn't drive for a longer period of time as your reflexes are nowhere the same after. You have to seriously fall into a bottle to achieve the same effect. Besides, the amount of braincells killed with each joint are multiples of that of alcohol or cigarettes.
Ban the stuff and keep it away from kids and those loser potheads of the streets I travel...

Unbelievable. I can only console myself by believing (probably erroneously) that eventually all of these stupid parents and their stupid children will eliminate themselves from the gene pool.
All drugs should be legal.
@Startup
This is the most beautiful, succinct, perfect answer ever given in the history of anwer giving:

Ok, my view on the subject:
I have been smoking pot regularly for the past 7 years or so. I do it because I have free will, not because of addiction. I managed to get a first degree (BA) and many other accomplishments in this time. Whilst I admit that it is harmful, it should be up to the individual. There is no scientific fact in what has been mentioned already about the drug. To say that anyone who smokes pot is a pothead loser shows how much ignorance there is on the subject. Baudelaire a loser? Maybe, but I'm sure he and a loooooooooong list of intellectuals havent been that badly damaged (mentally) by this 'drug'. Pot is not addictive, and that has been proven on various medical experiments.
Also, can anyone explain to me which western country has managed to achieve any results with the banning of this substance?
PS: T say all marijuana is the same is like comparing a pint of beer with a pint of vodka.
