I only like it cause Jak's "sidekick" is funny.

I have been playing the demo and this game is sure to be a winner. I know alot of people complained that Jak 2 was really hard but I think that is what has given this series a good following. Jak 3 looks very cinematic and so far the storyline is great. I heard there is new weapons and desert vehicles. I cant wait to get my copy.

Thanks, If you have a PS2 I suggest part one before 2 or some background on the story which is important. It is quite difficult though and some previous experience with platforming games would help. Enjoy!

I don't believe reading about online possibilities. Although I heard the MP in Ratchet & Clank: UYA or some game like that, I heard it rocked !!
Jak III is really getting the story element more involved though, which is great. It has many many improvements. Not to mention, it should be released today. As well as Halo 2, which got blazing reviews already.
More like a movie huh ? I guess you're kinda right. Nothing bridged the gap between movie and game like Metal Gear Solid though. Part 3 will be the best yet (Of MGS that is)

No MP in Jak 3. Naughty Dog's focus in the Jak and Daxter series has always been on creating a FANTASTIC single-player experience. There's a lot of variety in Jak 3, in both gameplay and story. Really smooth controls, and the characters are GREAT.

Not only that, but this is one of the best-looking games on the PS2, or on any system for that matter. Great animation, textures, and an unbelievable draw distance.

Anyway, definitely worth the $40. Go get.

I just got MGS: 3 and Jak 3 yesterday. MGS is awesome. Haven't played Jak 3 yet...I want to finish part 2 first, I'm near the end.
Weird thing is that I also got a bootleg version of Prince Of Persia 2. That game wasn't released yet, but it seems full so far. Weird.
