Nintendogs anyone? - Video Games Forum

My daughter really wants one. It looks pretty good and should keep her entertained for a while.

Anyone buy it yet?

Is it worth buying or is it like buying a tamagochi?

Problem is that we have like 3 gba so to get the game i would have to buy her a ds to play it on lol.

heh btw dont say they are nothing alike. someone else already chewed me up over it. nintendogs was created by the creator of mario bros and the like.

my friends have got it, i played it a bit, i think its more of a multi player game.

My daughter is 7. She has already added it to her christmas list for Santa.

I think there are 3 versions of the game depending on what dog breed you want. Not sure if it is good only demo'd it shortly before my daughter took it over at the store.

I definitely say it is an advanced version of the tamagochi, but it never dies.

I got chewed out at another forum when I compared nintendogs to tamagochi lol. This is the guys response.

Ya. You can pet, feed, run or play with them. Like jcb mentioned i think there is a multiplayer part to it like one nintendogs will know when another nintendogs game is near by and start barking. Not sure but i think i heard something like that, might be wrong lol.

I think it looks good but lol have to lay out cash for the DS on top of the game.

It should keep her quiet for awhile. Buy it I think it is good for little kids. I would like if they made a popular game but people older on DS I bought it but im trading it in for a PSP.

My little brother has a tamagoshi or something like that I do not see what is so fun about it. He sat there for hours waiting for somethin gto hatch then every time he try connecting two it does not work lol.
