Express interest in what she likes? That will not help. It's the classic sitcom puppy dogg love story.

Guy : (To girl) You know, I'm interested in animal rights. Especially dolphins.
Girl Surprised) Me too! I love dolphins.
Guy : It's so sad how America overlooks the way we treat our marine animals.
Girl : (Surprised again) Me TOO!
Guy : I love horseback riding too.
Girl : (COMPLETELY SHOCKED) ME TOO! Wow, I guess we have a lot in common.
Guy : I guess we do.

Then for the next half hour we watch as the guy tries to change himself completely and dramatically until the final 5 minutes when the truth comes out and the girl realises that the boy isn't who he says he is.

Girl : Why did you lie to me?
Guy : I just wanted you to like me.
Girl : But I liked you already.
(Canned audience "awwing")

THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. Do not put up a front at all about things like this. Talk to the chick first, and then go on form there. Don't expect her to automatically fall into your arms. See if there can be something more there and if there is, then go for it. It's one thing to be attracted, and something else to be interested. So, you be EXTREMELY attracted to this chick, but talk to her and find out who she is and discover if you are interested.
