Straight Edge was started by the 1980s punk band Minor Threat... It's about not falling into that rock star hole and not poisoning yourself. It's great when you've got a group of straight edge friends, but when I first deceided to be straight edge, most of my friends were anything but. That was kinda tough, but I still did it cause it was right for me.
