Snowboarding is extremely fun and the learning curve is much easier then skiing. You rapidly improve instead of just on a steady basis improve like ski's. My first day snowboarding I went from wably on the bunny hill to Black Diamonds at the end of the day. This was in Aspen Colorado which has some fairly tough Diamonds also. By the end of the week I was landing some grinds and airing ramps. Although I skateboard a ton and also wakeboard so I may of picked it up a lot easier then most : P
