I seriously doubt MS will go bankrupt as a result of buying out other companies. They're not that stupid. Like I've said, it's all very well for them to buy out Rare, as this should net them more customers when Rare's games gets released. However, I don't think MS should buy out too many other companies, as this will make them look desperate, and that won't be good for business. They should earn their reputation like Nintendo has, for example. However, MS isn't the only one to flash their cash around... But please bear in mind, why their reputation isn't too hot at the moment, it's mainly because they're new to the console market, and people don't trust newbies generally. This shoud change as time goes on, when MS gets a chance to prove themselves regarding console games.
