It is fun. Just so long as you don't get lost. ;) I remember getting lost once, I also remember denting up me father's snowmobile bumper. But I won't get into that. (I was like 6 or 7 at the time )

We have some pretty good snowmobile areas / lakes / rivers / territory to go around on. Plus, my city is surrounded by forest and there's only one highway into it, so theres tons of area to go around. Such greatness...

Plus, it's always nice bringing stuff and having a campfire / weiner roast / marshmallow roast.
