One week ago today I bought myself a copy of Metroid Prime for the Cube after hearing everyone's glorious reviews of it. I took it home played it for 5 minutes and then went out with my girlfriend for a bite to eat.

A couple of hour later I return to my household with 3 newly rented Gamecube games

• 007 Nightfire
• Mortal Kombat : Deadly Alliance
• X-Men : Next Dimension

You guys still following??? Okay now it is Friday and My Metroid Prime game has been played for 00:28 Elapsed. So is there something wrong with me? I've been playing Mortal Kombat : DA all this time and just unlocked my last character today.

I keep reading all these stories about how people are salavating over the fact that Christmas is only so-and-so days away and THEN they will be able to play Metroid Prime. Me? Hell, I've been playing X-Men : Next Dimension more than my Metroid Prime, and THAT is the most horrendous game EVER created. I got the same feeling of Disgust that I got after receiving Superman 64 for Christmas and playing for the first time. So, back to the my post...Is there something wrong with me? It seems like a great game and all, but...I dunno. I guess the term I am looking for to describe Metroid Prime is "meh".
