Why are coaches called geniuses but don't always make the right decision?
Take for example Steve Spurrier. Offensive mastermind. Winning the game by one point against the Giants in New York. Why not pass it. One of the worst quaterback groups in the league and you have one of the best running backs Stephen Davis. Hand of the ball to Stephen Davis right. NO! Throws the ball and eventually loses.
Mike Martz. Another offensive mastermind. He has the best player not questions asked in Marshall Faulk. Give him the ball right. NO! Pass the ball and start 0-5. Starts giving him the ball and win 5 in a row.
Why is everyone so pass happy and affraid to hand it off.
Great Deffense + Excellent Runnig Game - Turnovers = Super Bowl
