Yeah, I'm going to try to do a top ten every week. Now keep in mind, most of these songs are going to be rap, so just a warning for you all out there who don't take a liking to rap, but there will be a rock song or two in here. Also, these songs aren't necessarily current, they just happen to be my ten favorite during the week. And for those of you rap fans, you might want to czech some of these songs out, and even for fans of other types of music because this countdown won't be ALL rap, and I'll label what category under which each song fits. Age of the song doesn't matter in this countdown. I'll talk about some of these, others I won't.
10. Jurassic 5- What's Golden (Rap)
9. Telepopmusik- Breathe (Techno): This song is from the Mitsubishi Outlander commercial. Mitsubishi, in my mind, has the 2nd best music for car commercials. Nisaan is number one.
8. Mos Def ft. Diverse- Wylin' Out (Rap)
7. Epidemic- Magnificent (Rap)
6. Eminem- Lose Yourself (Rap): This song is about tied with "Magnificent" this week, but Eminem gets the nod because of his "8-Mile" movie.
5. Emotep- Binary Stars (Rock)
4. Afu-Ra- Lyrical Monster (Rap)
3. Mos Def- Mathematics (Rap)
2. LL Cool J- The Ripper Strikes Back (Rap): I hate this guy and this is the only song I like from him. It is a masterpiece nevertheless and straight up KILLS Canibus in their battle. And this is coming from a Canibus fan.
1. Aesop Rock- Daylight (Rap): I just plain love this song right now. A great beat and I song I've been playing when I feel a bit down.
