Holy ****ing ****...

I just commanded 7 marines in a perfect real time strategy setting watching them claw for territory in alien domain against leaping and flying zerg type things...It was the most pressure, most fun I have ever had in a videogame...

People were constantly talking to me through their headsets...frantically requesting ammo and health as they flee from 4 aliens clawing after him, all in my top down fully 3-D view.

I quickly built up our base...I designate structures and people walk up and build them...it was surprisingly and surreally realistic...both in a RTS form and in real life...We would capture Resource nozzles, I would in turn build collectors on top of them. Giving me more money to drop weapons, health and ammo in front of them...

I spent time upgrading their weapons and watching 5 or 6 of them stick together as they walked down dark corridors, fingers on the trigger.

Commanding this game was the most amazing experience ever...

It was so, so..real.

It was like I really was commanding troops into battle, supplying them, and showing them the way.

Crazy.
