Well, from what I know... I would not have really put PlayStation in the same category as Nintendo when it comes to gaming systems, because Nintendo was in the market way before 1994 when Sony came out with the PlayStation. But I would not really bash Microsoft on their efforts considering I has a system that worked fine for over 5 years with no problems at all. That is long life considering the maker and the way it works.
