Holy shit this topic is like 3 years old and it's still true

Benson sold the site because we kept trying to merge with other gaming sites and 99% of the members were huge retards who kept alienating everyone else. The community became nothing but drama and cliques, and I'm pretty sure that's why Benson said fuck it, plus I think he got a pretty good offer from hypedave, if I remember correctly.

This was all seriously like 5+ years ago so my memory may be fuzzy, a lot has happened to me since then and honestly I hadn't thought of bluegoop since I was like 16 years old (21 now) until I started getting emails from this place.
