1 week ago, I didn't even know who Sarah Palin was, until she was picked by John McCain to be his VP. I'm not an American so such issues really sometimes go by me. As I was flipping channels, I happened to pass CNN and Sarah Palin's speech was ongoing. I thought, what the heck. I was curious seeing her on the Yahoo News. Well, what can I say? That speech was very good. She gave a motivating speech and even I was moved.

McCain's choice was indeed better than Obama's, which in my opinion, he should have picked Hillary for VP. That would have sealed the deal by getting enormous Black and women votes. The women votes could swing to McCain. Sarah Palin made an impact in the Republican camp, it seems. That's just my opinion. But be happy to have some other input.
