Bush stumbled into Iraq using the WMD idea as propaganda to rally the American people--the real reason that troops were sent to Iraq was to rid the world of the potential threat before he became a threat to us (a preemptive attack, basically), and to set up a democracy in a place where we need all of the friends we can get.

I don't condone the war, but looking back at some of your posts you seem to be ignorant on the subject. America was split in two during the election, and the two major parties STILL can't agree (this is evident in Congress).

The troops are still in Iraq to clean up what they started. To withdraw the troops, thus leaving the country in ruin, would be an even worse criticism against the already hypocritical America.
