Please help,

When I play any game that draws on the CPU and RAM (i.e.: Rome: Total War,
Silent Hunter III) the game freezes after 15 minutes of gameplay and I'm
forced to reboot because the system freezes and a high-pitched noise blares
out of my speakers?. But when I play games that doesn't draw too much
horsepower (NASCAR Racing 2003 Season) the system runs fine without issues.


I've tried everything:

1. Checked for virus', none found
2. Uninstalled drivers for Sound Blaster Audigy 2, NVidia GeForce FX 5700
and re-installed them again; still a no go.
3. Ran Everest Home Edition for temerature checks; all in the normal range
4. Checked the heatsink, CPU fan, power supply fan and all case fans for
dirt and debris; all clean and in working order.
5. Uninstalled all games, defragmented the hard drive, performed a scan disk
and re-installed the a fresh copy of all problematic software; still a no go

Is it a memory issue? Power Supply? CPU going bad? Or perhaps the sound card
because of the noise?

Please, someone help me narrow it down because I've invested a lot of time
and money to build this system.
