Yes, this was a fairly stupid thread I have no idea why I made it, but since I did... It's a sure thing to say none of us would exist, it's amazing to look back and realise that we came to be the individuals that we are today from events big and small like large empires falling or your great grandfather hating the weather in the country he originated. We are on this planet from a series of unlikley events that would have had worse odds then a dead horse winning a Kuntucky Derby, looking at it this way we are very lucky to be here. Anyway, I would be surprised if we wern't a lot more advanced then what we are today, if the Romans still reigned supreme, by at least hundreds of years, the dark ages halted human progress by 500 years possibly more.
