Default Re: 30 Ping

ok first you will need yr local IP address and default gateway so to find
this:
in xp click start and select run .. in the run dialog box that appears type
in cmd then click ok...
in the new dos style command window that opens type ipconfig and then
press enter...
for 98/se/me click start and select run .. in the run dialog box that opens
up type in winipcfg then click ok..
make a note of both the ipaddress and default gateway numbers that show.
when you need to close the dos command window type Exit and then press
enter.

type the default gateway address (this is usually http://192.168.1.1) in an
Internet Explorer address bar and click go, to open the routers set-up
utility. Now you will be prompted for a username and password... if these
have never been set use the defaults.. the default username is blank so
dont type anything in there.. just type admin for the password..

when the Router Setup window opens click on the "Advanced" tab and then
click on the "forwarding" tab..

the port forwarding sections may show as Service ports or Extention Ports
so in "Ext Port" or "Service Port" the first port we need to forward is 6073
so in there we enter 6073 to 6073 and check the UDP protocol..
in the "IP Address" field enter the final three digits of your local ip
address ( you made a note of earlier) and then check the "Enable" box..

next we want 47624 to 47624 check both the UDP and TCP protocols.. again
enter the last three digits of yr IP Address and check the "Enable" box..
finally we want to enter this range.. 2300 to 2400 check the UDP and TCP
protocols.. enter the final three digits of your local ip address and check
the "Enable" box..
thats it! click "apply" confirm the new settings with a reboot if required
and you should be good to go..
Good Luck..
