Since somebody rude told us to move my compents onm parenting to the garbage, I have.
To answer your question Punky, mothering is my proudest accomplishment in life. To know that you have help mold that young human being into a respectable, polite, honest, hard working young man....soon to be adult, is very rewarding. To see them grow up and the excitement in their faces as they learn new things....new tastes, sounds, words, colors, just about everything. The love is the biggest reward. To me there is nothing better than a hug or kiss from my child. When they look up at you and tell you they love you more than all the stars in the Universe... that makes my heart swell with joy, so much so that sometimes it actually hurts because it feels so good.
I know this is mushy and corny to many, especially since this site consits of mostly young men, but it is so astonishng, the feelings you have for a child that it is hard to put into words.
I unfortunately cannot have more due to the Tumor on my spine, but both my husband and myself said if we were ever fortunate enough to win or come into a lot of money, that we would adopt 10 more kids. Yes that # is right.....10.
