They will not go under.
The problem with them is they do mass production and when a slump in sales comes along, they end up letting go of employees etc. Then if all the mass produced cars and trucks do not sell, they end up having to liquidate them at a great loss to the company.
They should take a look at the way Honda runs their companies. They only produce cars as they are purchased. Honda has never had a lay-off in the history of their company. They still manage to be competitive in the job market and in the sales market.
Ford and GM go through theses financial problems every so often....maybe they should start running things a different way, because the way they are doing it now has proven over and over to be unsucessfull!
