Ok...so I was in downtown Seattle, near Nike Town or whatever, and there was a line...I spotted a friend there, I asked what was going on...

It turns out that some special shoe will be for sale this Saturday, at 12:01 AM. It's some limited shoe that's only have 80 pairs per store...and it'll cost $180.

Ok...am I the only one who thinks $180 for a pair of shoes is a tad too much? You know how many RPGs and Animes I can buy with that kinda cash?! I can get airfare, round trip tickets to somewhere!

And there was about 20 people in line! *looks at calendar* Ok...so you're going to wait in line for about 2-3 days for a pair of shoes?!

BUT...I remembered...

yes....that happened when PS2 came out...how much was it back then? $499? $399? That was still a lot...

then there's those after Christmas Day sales....

My god...humans...

So...what do you think of this? Had you waited in line for a long period of time for something?

The only time I can think of was 2 hours waiting in line to register for Anime Expo 2003...^^
