There's really only three things you need to take from this article:
1) "The Supreme Court sidestepped a dispute over gay marriage on Monday, rejecting a challenge by conservative groups to the status of Massachusetts as the only state that sanctions same-sex marriages."
2) "Federal courts, [said counsel for the conservative busy-bodies], should defend people's right "to live in a republican form of government free from tyranny, whether that comes at the barrel of a gun or by the decree of a court."
I couldn't agree more, counselor. Including my right to be free from the tyranny of you imposing your morals on me.
And, conveniently right after that...
"Merita Hopkins, a city attorney in Boston, had told justices in court papers that the people who filed the suit have not shown they suffered an injury and could not bring a challenge to the Supreme Court."
Nor could anyone ever suffer any injury from the marriage of people unrelated to them.
It's time the right figure out how wrong they are on this.
