No it won't, If you even played number 1 you would know it was split into 3 different cities, Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas, the 3 games on the PS2 are all practically GTA 3, all games use the same engine as GTA 3 and everything and it followed the path of number 1 with Liberty City in GTA 3 and then Vice City then San Andreas. The next GTA will be known as number 4 because it will be on an entirely new game engine etc.
