Default Three little suggestions to improve the democratic political show

That's over. And that was great. The political show offered by the last election was a pure entertainment : cracks, made faces, little jokes, all coming for free and so enjoyable. Dozens of hours of video tapes coming from a lot of countries showing their presentation of that event. Better than any other democratic show.

That was great. Yet there are three little modifications that could add to the quality of the political show.

The first one is to remove that insane limitation in terms. What did the president do wrong to be denied the opportunity of running for another term?
The president is only 58 and superbly healthy and while his next term will be of a slightly different nature, he will do a grand democratic job.
So why punish him if he wants to stand another chance?
This might happen because that is pure unfairness based on nothing and the president is doing such a good work that he deserves.

The second one demands a slight modification of the democratic us citizen rights.
People acquiring the democratic us nationality should be given a level with people born with the democratic us nationality. They should be able to compete for the president position.
This might happen and a project is already examined.

The third one, the last but not the least, is the most unlikely to happen.
Despite of being purely formal, this would break the democratic glass window by making the picture of the opposition stuff true to the reality.
The idea is that only the best should be given an access to the finals.
This means that people from a same political colour should be given the opportunity of competing for the president seat in the finals.
Instead of asking people for example who the best republican and democrat candidates are to create an artificial clash between the two champions of those parties, the question should be who are the best candidates to create an ultimate confrontation.
The change is purely formal of course because one is as likely to find variations of political ideas between members of the same political party as to find them between members of different political parties.

Those slight changes could lead to one of the biggest events in 2008.

(With a michael buffer's voice)
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the main event. The democratic us are proud of bringing to you through the democratic mass media corporations pipes, the election of the millenium.
In the middle corner, (to maintain an unbiased stance, people would be assigned no right/left situation), right from california, the man who broke his class chains to find freedom in our country, the man who anabolised to shape a perfect body, the most famous action movies male star in the world, the man to whom no challenges can resist, the man who gave back the indians their status of human beings, the man who gave his state a new youth, ladies and gentlemen, please applause the challenger, the californian governor arnold schwarzenegger.
In the middle corner, straight from texas, the man known for his refined elegant style, the man led by god, the man who conquered the beast from bagdad, the man who linked new alliances, the man who knows no fear, the man who has been leading the world to true freedom for now four years, ladies and gentlemen, please applause the president georges walker bush.
Now is the time for the clash of the titans, for the greatest bout in the universe: the austrian oak versus the texas cowboy.
LET'S GET READY TO DEMOCRACY"
