I'd agree that this needs to be considered. Jackson routinely invited cancer survivors (such as this child) to his ranch which is designed for children with amusement rides, games, horseback riding, etc. A lot of people believe or believed that Jackson had only the best intentions for inviting such children to his ranch (often the entire families were invited). This comes down to how much the parents knew of what was going on there (e.g. did they believe that their child was going to have their own room?). Nonetheless, parental negligence in this case would have to wait until a guilty verdict and even then might not be provable.
