France Raises Terror Alert Level

Concerned that the collapse of a terminal in the Paris Airport might be terror related, President Jacque Chirac has raised France's terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide". Before the bombing of Madrid's rail line, France had spent a long time at "Appease".

The only two levels higher are "Surrender" and "Collaborate".

"We hope it doesn't come to that," President Chirac said, "but if the terrorism continues the French people are prepared to do what they need to do."
