Who are they?
Sen. Fritz Hollings:
"Senator Hollings serves as Ranking Member on the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee where he champions a wide range of issues such as telecommunications, transportation security, consumer protection, coastal preservation and research, and trade policy."
"As a result of the September 11th attacks, Hollings led the effort to pass transportation security legislation for our nation's port, railroad, and aviation systems in an effort to bolster national security and protect American citizens."
Rep. Rangel:
"Sen. Hollings, a combat veteran of World War II, supported the resolution allowing President Bush authority to use force in Iraq while Rep. Rangel, a combat veteran of the Korean War, was a strong opponent of a similar resolution. However, both are in complete agreement that, if military action is considered necessary, then the burden of carrying out that action must not be limited to any one segment of the population. "

Rep. John Lewis,
is a former civil rights leader. Couldn´t find much on him.
Congressman Neil Abercrombie:
"Congressman Neil Abercrombie today voted for a Congressional resolution urging reversal of yesterday’s ruling on the Pledge of Allegiance by a three-judge panel of 9th Circuit Court of Appeals."
"Ritual is the conserver of values, and the Pledge of Allegiance is one of our most important rituals. It affirms, strengthens and inculcates the values of freedom and patriotism. Like the rest of the Pledge, the reference to God is ceremonial. In my view it does not violate the Constitution’s prohibition against the establishment of religion, nor does it violate the principle of separation of church and state."

"They (Iraqi officials) said they would allow us to go look anywhere we wanted," Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., said on ABC's "This Week." "And until they don't do that, there is no need to do this coercive stuff where you bring in helicopters and armed people and storm buildings."

MY COMMENTS:
Yes, it pains me to say the guys behind the draft bill are democrats, every last one of them. But they are a strange bunch, i´ll tell you this much!
One has a strange idea of patriotism, another has a hard on for everything that is military, another seems to think the iraqis were open and welcoming inspections, and yet another has some huge contributions made from several lobbys, and...
Well, you guys figure it out. I took the time to search for all this crap, the least you can do is read it.
But in final analysis, i think this bill doesn´t have Bush´s trademark, at least not on the surface.
Give credit where credit is due.
