I wouldnīt call it unpatriotic. I wouldnīt even call it poetry, so good were the rhymes!
I call them fighting words. Sounds more like a punk song, with a left wing message.
The only people who would think these words were unpatriotic are those targeted by them. Namelly the Bush admin. Everything that criticizes Bushīs policies gets labeled as unpatriotic, a nice little propaganda scheme!
The funny thing is, that same thing happened during the nazi years in Germany. Any dissent was labeled unpatriotic and voted to ostracism. Anyone founded badmouthing Hitler would get a get-in-to-jail free card, donīt pass GO, and donīt colect 200! Same thing here, only the prisons are bether looking and the penalties are less "physical". Like not being able to find a job anywhere, no bank will grant you loans, the IRS is on your case all the time, police arrassment, ridiculed in public, etc etc. May not be a prison with walls and bars on the windows, but itīs a jail nonetheless.
