That Time of Year Once Again
Well, today was the seniors' last day of school, and, the senior prank this year had to be one of the lamest in the school's history. Seven seniors gathered and bought 700 crickets, and released them in a hallway. There was a rumor that me and Madison got attacked by them. That was false. But it was still funny. The janitors were vaccuming them up alive, which was pretty funny in itself. But the prank was still not as good as others have been in recent years (last year's pranks included daily fire drills for a week, spray paint on a building, gluing all the locks on the doors).
It was a pretty dramatic day around school, since the junior and senior classes have been pretty close for the past three years. It's tradition at my school for an assembly on the last day for seniors. The student government members induct the junior class into the new senior class, and the new seniors induct the sophomores into the new junior class, and the new juniors induct the freshmen into the sophomore class. The thing takes about an hour and a half. I thought inducting people was fun. I'm the president of the student council now, so that's pretty cool. My job was the most important.
School officially ends on Thursday, May 27th out here. Share your experiences with senior class pranks, this year or years past, here.
