Lol...that's really a rather humorous question, just on the face of it. What exactly do you think soldiers actually do for a living? We routinely hurt people that think differently than we do, or than our country does, or our President does, or whoever. In fact, that's sort of the entire job description in a nutshell, when you get right down to it, isn't it? And I obviously have no problem with that, per se, or I would never have become a professional soldier in the first place.

That said, I really don't wish to confront you in person, or physically harm you, of course. That would just be a big waste of time, I'm sure.

You're not implying that? Really? Then, why did you PM me asking for my address? Why did you follow up with another PM, using my real name (Joe)?
My PM was just a transparent hint (I thought it was, anyway) to see if you really believed that I couldn't find out virtually everything that there is to know about you, and your 'real-world' life, if I really wanted to, as you seemed to imply. Trust me: my access to resources in that particular area is simply beyond compare; you have absolutely no idea how extensive my ability to access supposedly "private" personal data on any given individual actually is. I'm sure you'd be totally shocked and appalled if you did. Anyway, you responded to that, and I replied to your response, simply mentioning your surname in the process. Just your surname and nothing more. It was just a subtle (and supposedly private = just between you and me) hint to you that I already knew a great deal about you (virtually everything that's really worth knowing, in fact) so far as the actual real-life person "Joe" and his 'real-world' private life are concerned. I thought you'd just take that little hint for what it was: If I had ever actually wanted to find you or harm you it would be mere child's play for me to do so.

I certainly didn't think it was right to air my knowledge of your real life and affairs here in the open forum, so I dropped that one gentle hint in a supposedly "private" PM, meant only for you, personally. And you have chosen to mention that in here, not me. If I had really wanted to do so I could have revealed much, much more about you, right here in the open forums, but I didn't.

And just for the record, I expect my PM's to remain private, now and in the future. Unless you really do want me to get downright nasty with you I'd advise you to keep my private PM's to you private, or be prepared to forfeit your own "real-world" privacy entirely in return.

If I was really all that pissed off with you I'd use the copious pile of info that I already have on you (acquired simply out of curiosity thus far) in some genuinely nasty way, like handing all of your private financial info and identity details to some professional identity thieves, just as one possible "for instance". That would surely be a lot more economical, and a hell of a lot more effective, than traveling all the way to Switzerland just to take a poke at you. It would take you a decade or more to get your financial identity straightened out and cleaned up again, and I wouldn't even need to get up out of my chair to do it. Trust me: the PM was just a polite, private "warning to the wise" about the dangers inherent in putting too much faith in the illusion of "personal anonymity" out here on the net. It was nothing more. I thought you were smart enough to figure that one out on your own. Guess not. My bad.

Others here obviously feel that I have crossed a few red lines with you, and Startup has politely asked me to cease and desist with the ad hominum attacks (after you forwarded my PM to him) and I'll certainly respect his wishes on this matter, and leave you alone -- or at least keep my replies to your posts here as free of ad hominum attacks as possible.

If you're smart you'll simply drop this subject, and forget about it. And so will I.
