It will not be fully open this summer, although they are promising to open the Observation Deck at the top of the pedestal and no farther.

Who wouldn't want to visit the Statue of Liberty? It's a very impressive monument, and it's a very powerful symbol of freedom. I've been up to the crown level once in my life, and I'll do it again the next time I'm in the New York area.

I doubt you will be able to go to the crown observation deck because I have read that it will be closed "indefinitely."
