It's not about being 'politically correct'. It's about being respectful of individuals and their opinions, EVEN if you disagree with those opinions. I don't agree with what you as right, but I still respect your right to hold the opinion.

I've sat down over a few beers with several people from the old SR forum, several of which are current members here. I don't think there was a single person there that held the same thoughts as I did. Yet, not a single one of them was ready to 'rearrange my face'. It was quite cordial, and I think every one of us learned something. Oh, the voices got raised a few times, but that was the extent of it.

That is about the most hypocritical thing I've ever heard. You don't like my views on the war (use of violence), but you're ready to use violence against me because of it. Or, you're suggesting that someone else will, and perhaps should.
I'm perfectly fine with expressing my views on things. I've done so with others who do not share my views. Infact, I've been getting together with several memebers of this forum on a semi-regular basis. We have a few drinks and discuss whatever topic comes to mind. It's not about beating our viewpoint into their head, but sharing views and experiences in an attempt to broaden our minds.
If you, or someone else wants to rearrange my face, I'm perfectly fine with that. For starters, violence against me isn't going to change how I think. The use of violence against me only shows that your own viewpoints are weaker than you would like, so you must resort to violence to build those positions up in your own mind.

It's your attitude. Feel free to post as often as you like, but keep the personal attacks out of your threads. Most definitely keep the threats of violence out. The whole purpose of this thread was to lighten things up. You've done just the opposite of that. Starting with additional personal attacks and then cranking up the heat with threats. You never actually answered one of the questioned I asked you...
What specifically have your personally directed comments, or threats of violence, done to advance a thread or better the forum?
I said it previously, and I'll say it again because I really feel like you do need some sort of help. You obviously have very deep seated hatred, and I get the impression that it's wearing on your sensibilities. When you threatened me, don't you feel like that was just slightly out of line? You really do need to speak with a professional, and figure out what is causing all of this pain in your life. Otherwise, you just might do what you've threatened to and hurt someone. Can you
really live with that? Hurting someone because they think differently than you?
