Every Police force should have them, and they can, very easely.
Step into the inpound car park of your local police station and you will find lots of cars rotting that could well be used to improve police work, instead of just slowly rotting away.
There should be a provisin that allowed the aprehended material to be used in fighting crime. What better use to give some money apreheended on a drug deal or a car from the local auto theft ring, than to give it back to the police to equip itself better?
Instead of having it burned or wrecked or given back to the State, every police station should be given first choice on what to do with unreturnable items, like cars, inpounded money, radios, scanners, weapons, or whatever.
Thereīs a lot of high gain cars that just get sent to auctions and sold for scrap, when they could be put to good use.
Just the other day, a cop died here, because his motorbyke broke in the middle of a high speed chase. The front suspension broke, and sent him flying! Without wings...
The cops are still struggling with dirt old and broken pieces of scrap, that the government insists on calling "vehicles"...
Only our equivalent of the highway patrol has received a few new vehicles, the Subaru Impreza. But even the Impreza isnīt a match for the high power cars that run our roads like a Grand Prix. Some Ferraris would come in handy, yes sir! Or even Lamborghinis, wich is almost the same thing.
