The beheading of an innocent civilian has been condemned by a lot of muslim nations and people. I doubt that many will start to hate muslims (any more than they already do). It opposes what the quoran stipulates. It is nothing but another senseless murder just like the drive by shooting last night in any major US city. This action has moved them to a simpler category of murderer rather than terrorist.

For those that are so grossed out about seeing a person die in the short movie and disliked it there are a few comments I would like to share with you:

- acts like this have been happening all over the world. Chechnia, Yugoslavia, Ruwanda are just a few of the countries were cutting a throat or beheading are or were daily occurances. There has been footage about it around for a long time now which could have been viewed, however it wasn't a muslim killing a christian and not an Iraqi killing an American.... Isn't this what this outrage is mostly about???
- after you see your first mass grave live or the files on them including the photos and videos you will understand that the beheading of a single person is not all that offensive... (Yugoslavia etrocities should be de-classified soon (if it isn't already) and it is all in color and tone.... WW2's etrocities are aired on the history channel almost every week...)
- humans have seen images, executions and shows made up of death for millenia

Based on this and the fact that each one willingly downloaded and viewed the gruesome video I wonder why you are now so stunned over the "physics of death" e.g. how hard it is to sever a head from the torso, how much blood there is etc. etc.
Maybe I dulled down after I pulled 10+ people from fatal car wrecks etc. as firefighter but I guess I just don't understand the whole uproar about it...

I just wish that his children and wife will NEVER EVER see this footage!
