So even if you don't have any proof of something everyone should still believe it to be true? The faith in the wmd's of Iraq sound almost like a religion....

Well pardon me, I must've been badly mistaken. If the US already wasn't invading Iraq, this surely would be a reason to do so. Wonder what Bush's gut feeling would say about this?
Naturally the US thinks they are out there because they are still looking at the receipts for the deals. But the fact that the US sold them weapons a long time ago doesn't still mean they exist at the present.
