No shit? Why does it just have to be LA? Houston has shown a couple locally, so has Dallas, Ft. Worth and other cities as well.
Hell, I remember when I was a lil kid about 7 years of age, right before the news would begin, one of the news reporters would say " It's 10 o'clock pm, do you know where your children are" What ever happened to the good days of good damned media. Forgot the dumb crap to show the latest driveby, rape victim or murder just to boost your shows stupid tv rating.
What is also stupid is how the news stations are in competiton. All I ever hear.
"We were there first"
"Bringing it to you first'
" Live on channel ___"
"Only on channel ___ will you see this"
When at the end of the day, all those stations will pretty much tell you the same thing, so competiting to show you the latest gun shot victim makes no sense. How about competiting to show the viewers the latest good news. Then again, screw the media all together, i'll go start my own small local news station with nothing but good news to spread.
