Well that's one reason I miss the hummer now. When me and the dog used to take weekly trips to the local dog park she he enjoyed the very back row. He's pretty much trained well when it comes to riding in moving vehicles, I guess it was part of the Man's Best Friend training he received.
Putting dogs in seat belts is a waste of time and may not be beneficial for the part in question. The following questions raise concern:
1.) What happens when Fido is in a doggy belt and you get into a car wreck and cant get back their to unfasten his seatbelt?
2.) How will Insurance companies react to this?
Now I can understand if someone has a dog in a cargo bed of a truck, I see it everyday where trucks are driving up and down the street and the dogs are freely able to jump out at the stop light.
Sorry if im flip flopping, but another thing that pisses me off is dogs in moving cars, sticking their head out the window to feel the cool breeze, I actually saw an animal get killed that way. But hey animals can be properly trained to ride in moving vehicles.
