STALKER is a video game due to release in the summer, based on Chernobyl.
It´s a HALF LIFE type of game, with semi-real world locations, wich uses the Chernobyl incident as inspiration for its story.Mutants, zombies, etc etc. Pretty much what you find around Chernobyl, actually!
I heard they found some earth worms the size of snakes up there! And the deers were all messed up, some were born inside out or something...
Radiation does weird stuff to all living creatures.
Aparently, the reactor was active for years, buried under tons and tons of concrete, wich they dumped over it to stop the radiation leak. I wonder how it is now? It was rebuilt, wasn´t it?
