Default E3 2003: N-Gage Details

ŠodePhoenix, with your E3 updates, here on BlueGoop...here's some information you might want to know about the N-Gage, including pricing, launch dates, and games:

From GamerFeed:
For months people have wondered how the Nokia N-Gage would handle the competition of handheld leader Nintendo. Many question marks remained after the N-Gage was announced, but most importantly people questioned the companies price point. What would a cell phone, MP3 Player, video game system cost?
Today that question was answered.

Obviously Nokia's thunder was silenced by Sony's surprise handheld announcement today, but they continued on none the less. Nokia has announced that the Nokia N-Gage will retail for $299.00, making it the most expensive video game system on the market. The games are set to retail for approximately 30-40 dollars, depending on the publisher.

The system is scheduled to be released around the world by this October and will launch with a few bigger names. Among those bigger names Nokia will see Sonic, Red Faction, and Tony Hawk ready at launch. Along with that, Nokia has announced that they will be publishing their own games announcing their first game. The new game is called Pathway to Glory and is and action based game set in World War II.

Company executives declined to discuss how many units will be available when N-Gage sales begin in October but were optimistic about the prospects for the device saying, "There will be millions out there, say by the end of a year or so, on a global scale."

Things keep getting more and more interesting. Keep it here!
Quite pricey...not worth it. Just thought you all may be interested.
