Some E3 Nintendo Shockers...
The first one being the announcement of GameCube 2. The GameCube 2, while no specifics were announced, is being worked on at Nintendo currently. They want to do things their way this time...and they're willing to take risks.
The second...they're not worried about Sony's new announcement of the Playstation Portable (PSP, if you will). They believe that the Gameboy will remain the most popular handheld console on the market.
Some new games were announced, such as Metroid Prime 2. While the person that commented on it described it as "similar to Metroid Prime," many changes will most likely be made to this sequel. Expect more tomorrow. Other games announced include a new Pac Man title from Shigeru Miyamoto, Mario Party 5, Pokemon Collisseum, a new Custom Robo game, Super Mario Advance 4, and Metroid: Zero Mission for the GBA.
E3 2003 begins tomorrow, so expect more updates from me as the action occurs.
