Yes yes, I have reached the big 5k, halfway to 10k.

I'll start by saying how much I enjoy coming to this place. An online friend of mine, Drworthless, links me to forums once in a while. Anyways, it was late October, and many people knew how hyped I was since GTA VC comes out the next day, so Drworthless links me here, to bluegoop.net, a topic made by one of our best members showing the famous 7 page long review of GTA VC. He also noted how he wished VGinsider, his site, was this active. This was back when bluegoop only had about 150 members, and VGI had about 350.

As I started reading the topic he linked me to, plus browsing the forums, I saw how much potential this place really had, and how much fun I'd have meeting this community. Obviously, I registered, not knowing anyone, and I was right, I had fun.

After a month of good posting, I was offered the Super Moderator position. I happily took it, knowing how I could add my thoughts and help to this site.

Of course, all places go through changes, unfortunately. The good and the bad. We merged in December with Matrix's site, Gamerzlive, and became GamerzGoop. We were all very content for the time being, the staff got along great, and we grew like a skyrocket.

Sadly, I'll just say the merge didn't work out fully months later, and we came to this, both sites going their seperate ways again, in April.

I wish the places were still together, but we can't get everything we want. Thankfully, we do have a good new owner from today, who will steer us into the right direction. I can assure you of that.

As a reminder, don't think that this place is dieing. It's not. It will only get better. We will grow more and more, we'll meet new people, and this will be a much better place. Patience.

To conclude, I'd just like to thank you all for making this place the place it is today. I will not mention names, because there is always that "You forgot me but congratulations", and editing this post isn't THAT slick. So keep enjoying yourselves here, as I am myself. Thanks, and now, I'm officially in the 5,000's.
