Opeth albums have some of the coolest art ever. But anyway, judging a band by what kind of artwork they have around there albums is stupid. I don't look at the liner notes while I'm listening to the music in my CD player or while I'm at a concert. It's kind of pointless.

How is it pointless? It's a showing of the band's artistic works beyond that in the field of music.

Well, the idea of a Concept album isn't really anything new and neither is having each song flow into the other. I mean, Opeth's MAYH is completely focused around a single story. And all of Pig Destroyer's short songs blend into one another. I don't see how Tool is doing anything that hasn't been done before.

I didn't say it was new, I said you don't see it as often as you think you would. And what Tool does I love. Simple as that.
