ok seriously now though. 1st amendment does apply but the teachers could use a loop hole. They could just fail you. Hypothetically they could lose some of your work that you passed in and add in a couple goose eggs to their record books.

Don't go overboard and get the asshat teachers against you. They could do that and they can hide behind the 5th (which allows you to hot have to answer a question. Upholdable in a court of law). Or they could just simply lie. Who are the authorities going to believe, a student who is protesting or a teacher who has had a clean slate for 20 years?

It sucks I know but yo gotta watch out for stuff like that.
