All I have to say is if they do win I expect everybody to show them the respect they deserve because they will prove their doubters wrong once and for all. And in reality, I really do think they'll drop from the playoffs in the first or second round this year. I think they have a chance at the four peat but it might be harder this year than the last 3 years they won the title. They just need to play great in the playoffs and be that dominant team again, like the last few years, but it won't be easy. Going from lottery bound to playoff contenders to NBA champs in just a few months would be nothing short of amazing. Well it's going to be a long hard road to the championship, and we'll get to see where our lakers stack up against other great teams in the west. Lakers will have to beat San Antonio, and The Kings, that's never easy...
But then again no one seems to remember that the Lakers game just elevates when the playoff's begin.
