The problem is the cancer is not just "the" disease that should scare people. There are 100s of kinds of cancer, but there is really only one AIDS.
AIDS kills far more people than one specific kind of cancer. When we start getting cures for cancer, they'll come one at a time. For example, just because you can cure skin cancer doesn't mean you can do a damn thing about breast cancer. AIDS, though, once cured, will most likely have a common cure.

WTFFFFFFFF?????? Just because there is only one type of AIDS and even though it is one of the most preventable disease in the world means that it should get more attention?? I dont think so...the fact that there are hundreds of types of Cancer should be a reason for people to take more attention to it than AIDS.
