well considering thier mistakes, they aren't ones to talk.

my personal opinion is that you start focusing on yourself more than anything. especially if they can't properly support you

most important things to hit success sooner than later

A) degrees: find out what you wanna do with your life fast and get a Shit load of degree's of it, meaning up to atleast 2 masters to a doctorate in it if its available in that field

B) get to know ALOT of contacts: making "friends" means giving and recieving favors as long as they're in the interest of you and your integrity.. because its that integrity thats going to open doors for you. and its those people you do favors for that will open doors for you in return.

C) analyse the time you still have: your young.. its ok to enjoy yourself but also pace yourself.. since your at a disadvantage you gotta focus on not only catching up, but breaking through.. if that means more school for you, then so be it.. but if you slack off, your giving up on yourself

and finally D) your starting from a lower point than you could have due to poor circumstances.. you gotta Trash everything thats going to slow you down.. because you can't afford to lose another moment on an artificial problem.

Life is about enjoying yourself.. unfortunatly if you have to worry about artificial problems like internal family problems.. then you definatly will find yourself in a roadblock for happiness... you gotta remember that there is only one person your going to wake up to and go to sleep with for the rest of yourself... start living for that person and no one else (that is if you wanna succeed in life).
