there something about that "perfect" game..

its not about Graphics...

its not about the story

its not about how solid or refined the gameplay is

hell its not even about the fun (i have played games that have been so much fun its insane, yet i knew it wasn't perfect)

its a feeling you get that you can play it, for a long long time... and it doesn't get tiresome..

for a while I thought Harvest Moon or Zelda had that perfect.. but they didn't.. because after a while I got bored with them, and with time came the end of them in terms of my playing them... they lasted me for a VERY long time.. but that time ended eventually.. it wasn't perfect.. but it was close to perfection as i've ever had it

Harvest Moon (snes)
Terranigma (snes)
Ocarina of Time (n64)
Harvest Moon 64 (n64)
Legend of Oasis (Saturn)
Beyond Oasis (Genesis)

these were all SO close... yet didn't make it past the contest of time... it just wasn't a perfect game... but it was as close to perfection as a game could possibly get

that is why im so interested in what Fable offers... just thinking about it makes it feel close to perfection... of course there are many things that can ruin it, but little by little.. the puzzle is pieceing itself togeather, at first it was gfx.. then it was story, then it was gameplay.. now that we know these little things.. it just opens itself up more and more to the slow but inevitable release.. and when that moment comes, i'll finally find out if I will experience the first "perfect" game.. or just another game, close but not close enough..
